Day 2 - Batu Kapal

We've made it to Batu Kapal Conservation site. Our luggage made it too. Our airline didn't know where it was. Our jungle driver knew someone who works at the airport and they knew someone with a taxi. So suddenly the luggage was found and dropped off at 00:30 this morning !

After an air conditioned car journey to Bukit Lawang we switched to motorbike taxi through the jungle tracks. The drivers are impressive. Much like an episode of Top Gear / Grand Tour.

The jungle-edge here is beautiful with all sorts of large butterflies and other creatures. We've already seen a family of macaques moving by.
