Day 7 - Saturday

Today we walked a route out near one of the two local bat caves as we monitored the wildlife. We saw Thomas Leaf and Silver Leaf monkeys.

We also saw a small stink flower - a relative of the giant stink flowers that can be found in the nearby jungle. This one wasn't too stinky yet.

After that we carried on helping create the new nursery area. Mostly we were clearing roots so that there's space for the new trees to grow. It's been another hot day, so there was time for a dip in the jungle river before heading back for lunch. This afternoon we're going inside the smaller of the two bat caves to check on those.
